We
have been getting calls and questions about the new Digital
Infrared Imaging Camera
and its applications. I believe its
biggest help will be for injuries and pain. One of
the
biggest problems I see in the medical community is doctors
chasing pain and its effects.
We need a technology that will
record images of the causal area and I believe the (DITI)
Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera best fits this need. By
imaging areas of
inflammation and processing them as colors (Red
for Hyperthermia, Blue for
Hypothermia) we are able to watch the
process of physiology in action. Base line studies
will give us
a starting point, then we can scan the area of concern at
specific intervals
and watch the healing process in “Live” mode.
For those who suffer from back and neck
pain, this type of
technology will be a godsend. Having lower back pain does not
necessarily mean the problem is coming from the lower back. It
could have originated in
the neck. The Infrared Red Camera will
then detect more heat, or Hyperthermia, in the
neck and the
lower back may only show low to moderate areas of heat. How many
times have you received treatment on a painful area and three
months later the pain has
come back? This becomes terribly
irritating and exhausting. I believe those days are
coming to an
end. Now with instant visualization, we can analyze problems at
their
source and start a treatment plan immediately for quicker
recovery time.
